Donations can be brought to 175 Walnut Street in Woodland between the hours of 8:30a and 5:00p Monday through Friday and 8:30a and 4:00p on Fridays. Thank you! 






SADVC Board of Directors Now Accepting Applications

SADVC is seeking passionate and qualified professionals interested in ending violence in their community.

The agency is seeking passionate and qualified candidates to serve on their board. The SADVC is Yolo County’s primary provider of domestic violence and sexual assault services.

SADVC’s board of directors is responsible for guidance and oversight of the agency’s affairs, including planning, policy development, resource development, financial oversight, and ensuring that the organization is addressing its mission of ending violence in Yolo County. The board of directors meets no less than 10 times annually, and board members are expected to actively participate on at least one board committee.

The board is seeking a diverse mix of community members, representing various backgrounds, sectors, and proficiencies. Previous board experience is not required. Those interested in serving and providing board leadership for a dynamic nonprofit organization should request an application by contacting the board President or visiting the SADVC’s website. Application deadline is April 8, 2013.

The administrative offices and primary counseling services are located in Woodland.
